Annual Report
The activities of the placement cell for the years 2023–2024 have been started for the students with the personality development seminar on June 23, 2023. Mrs. S.J. Parvathi, Vice President, Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre, Chennai, was served as a resource person.
On September 25, 2023, the Employment Awareness Programme was conducted by the National Career Service, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India, to motivate the students to appear for the various examinations. Miss K. Sathaya, a young professional, addressed the students.
On December 13, 2023, Placement Officer and Entrepreneur Development Coordinator attended a one-day mentor training programme at Distict Collectrate, Nagercoil, organised by the Skill Development Programme, Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
On April 1, 2024, the EDII Niral Thiruviza Awareness Programme was conducted to motivate the students to actively participate in the programme and submit their ideas.
On January 28, 2024, a Group IV Examination Awareness Programme was conducted by the AI Academy, Thiruvidancode, to motivate the students to appear for the Group IV examinations. Mr. S. Prajith and Miss Nirmala addressed the students.
On 10.2.2024, a mega placement drive was conducted by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme at Pioneer Kumaraswamy College Nagercoil, in which 59 students participated, among whom 19 got appointments.
On February 28, 2024, campus recruitment has been organised for students of the Department of Electronics by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Chennai Chapter, for the post of Trainer and Facilitator in Electronics. 10 students participated, and among them, 1 student got an appointment.
On March 4, 2023, the Inauguration of Free Coaching Classes for TNPSC Examinations was conducted to motivate the students to appear for the Group IV examinations. Mrs. A.Irin Selvi, Senior Revenue Inspector, District Collectrate, Nagercoil, addressed the students and Dr. A.Sreekandan, Head, Department of Tamil, Dr. S.Jayanthi, Assistant Professor of History, and Dr. A.Azagesh, Head, Department of History (P.G.), felicitated the function.
I am thankful to the management, the principal, the staff, especially Dr. A.Sreekandan, Dr. S. Ganesh, Dr. S. Elamaran, Dr. Manjushja Prof. M. Siva Ganesh, Mr. Rajesh District Coordinator, EDII-TN– IEDP, Nagercoil and the placement co-ordinators for their support, co-operation and advice on the placement cell activities.

Placement Cell, LPC and AK INFOPARK, Parvathipuram Signed a MOU on 7th October, 2024. It will enable us to utilize their resources for the betterment of our students.
