THE PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is playing a vital role in the efficient functioning of Lekshmipuram College of Arts and Science, Neyyoor -629802. It requires the support of all parents, teachers and other members of the college committee. The college principal is the president. The secretary and vice president are elected from among the parents of the students. The treasurer and other members are elected from among the professors.
The parent-teacher association Executive Council meets at regular intervals and the annual general body meetings offer platforms for sharing and interaction. We openly discuss both positive and negative feedback to ensure timely improvement and correction.
Generous allocation of PTA funds has helped the college with better functioning, like PTA teaching staff salaries, university rank holder cash awards for various departments, and disbursing the amount to various fields, encouraging all the departments to conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, symposia and motivation for youth welfare.
The parent-teacher association also provides infrastructure facilities on campus, like restructuring the electrical connection, an international seminar organised by the Department of History, computer peripherals and service expenses, and salary for the management teaching staff.
